Youth Soccer Programs

Skeeters

• The Skeeters program features fun activities designed to introduce 4 year olds to basic soccer skills.
• Players meet once a week (Saturday afternoons at Morningside Baptist Church on Pedrick Road from 2 PM to 3 PM) for approximately one hour.

Recreational League

• CSA's Rec League is geared to players of all skill levels, ages 5-17, who want to develop their soccer skills and/or just have some fun on the field!
• Teams practice one evening a week at Tom Brown Park or Morningside Soccer Complex (off of Pedrick road). All games are played on Saturday mornings.

Recreational Plus League

• CSA’s Rec Plus program continues to grow and this season, should enough players be interested, CSA plans to offer a Rec Plus team for our advanced U12 players. Our Rec Plus program is designed to give the advanced recreational player an opportunity to play against similarly-skilled teams in the Big Bend region.
• The selection of players is based upon parent commitment, prior-coach recommendations and a skills assessment.
• Games will be on Saturdays and could require minimal travel.
• One tournament weekend could be scheduled depending on their availability and the technical and tactical skill level of the team as they develop over the course of the season.
• Participating coaches will have an FYSA "E" License at a minimum.

TOPSoccer

• Declared the "game for all kids" by US Youth Soccer, Capital Soccer Association is a proud supporter of this very special program.
• TOPSoccer, The Outreach Program for Soccer, is a community- based training program for differently abled players 4 years of age and older, who have a cognitive and/or physical disability. Organized by youth soccer volunteers, this unique program enables these players to participate at levels consistent with their skills, not necessarily their age.
• Our goal is to enable people  with disabilities to develop their physical fitness, technical skills and self-esteem, through the joy and excitement of playing soccer.
